Writing of resume for the first time can be a very frightening experience, as it is talking about your job responsibility to your colleague or friend can be difficult. How to display, and present the resume in the effective and get the job is the main concern of everyone writing a resume.
Initially, find out what sort of a job you are looking for. What are your experiences, latest until the past? The qualifications you have and how you are qualified to work at that place. Try to write about your job descriptions and you qualification corresponding to that and why do you want to take up the new job. How are you qualified to take up that job.
Since, most of the companies pick up employees from the internet based on written resumes. You have to use the proper words to describe yourself and as far as possible use the verbs, which are active like, created, managed, developed etc. These words say a lot about you and describe the tasks you were carrying out and are capable of doing it.
The job you are holding currently is listed first in the resume and all the responsibilities are mentioned in the present tense and not in the past tense. The earlier responsibilities in the earlier job should be in the past should start with active verbs such as managed, developed, accomplished, etc.
The responsibility, which you have taken, should be of consequence to the job you are applying to and also it should show why you are qualified to take up the responsibility which they are ready to take.
If you are attached to some support group or in a team, you should also mention the same as this would be an added advantage if you will find yourself in a position of managing a team.
If you have the responsibility mentioned in the proper format then it will be easier to the employer/interviewer to take notice and call for an interview.
Nowadays the employers have so many people to choose from that they just scan the resume and search for the keywords and decide to call for an interview.
